Here are some things you need to know if you are going for this adventurous trek.

Best season/ time for travel:

September to November is the best time to travel for this trek. This is the perfect time to travel and view the Himalayas as this weather is neither too hot nor too cold. Monsoon in Nepal sums up in august so you won’t be facing any difficulties during this trek related to weather.

Type of trek.

This trek is not too difficult for trekking. If the person is not habituated to walking on high altitudes then there may arise a problem for them other than that the trek is easy. If you have altitude sickness then you must consult a doctor before going on this trek. This trek consists of villages, ups, and downs of hill, flora, and fauna, waterfall, etc. It takes 6-8 hours a day trekking depending upon the trek route. No physical exercise is needed to complete this trek.

Luggage and clothing:

If you are on a budget then you can carry your goods by yourself. Otherwise, you can hire a porter. The primary things you must contain in your luggage is a camera, sunblock, towels, tissues, a water bottle,  etc.

As it lies in the Himalayan region the climate is cold so you need to carry warmer clothes. Spare jackets(better waterproof), trousers, spare T-shirts, and boots with a good grip. If you are going with a travel company then they will provide a list of items related to clothing.

Gears:

The first and foremost gear you need to carry for this trek is a trekking pole. Without it it is harder for you to trek. Other gears like hiking boots, sleeping back with good quality, water bottle, etc. you don’t need to carry more things. Just carry those things which make you comfortable.

Accommodation:

You can find plenty of hotels and tea houses during the trek. Most of the hotels contain rooms with beds and blankets and nothing more. Visit the hotels and rooms and choose which you feel you are comfortable with.

Conclusion:

These are the little things that you should take care of if you are planning on going to Annapurna base camp.
